Second Scam Experience

I've been scammed by this SEMRUSH and I search it on google and may lumabas na result na it's an AI-powered company like. The transaction happened on September 10.

On September 9 na open ko pa yung Metrobank app ko then nung September 10 nag lo-loading lang yung app so hinayaan ko kase madalas naman nangyayari yun.

On September 13, I opened my Metrobank app again and viola okay na siya pero yung naka display lang sa dashboard ko is yung passbook and debit card ko lang. Wala yung sa credit card and again hinayaan ko lang kase mostly nga ganyan yung app so di ko pa napansin yung scam na nangyari.

Nung September 14, I need to open my Metrobank app kase need kong mag bank transfer and I thought namamalikmata lang ako kase bagong gising pa ko nun so I keep opening and closing my eyes to make sure na tama yung nakikita ko and yes yung 59k na available credit limit ko naging negative 27k na lang siya.

Di ko alam gagawin ko that time.

Tumawag ako and nereport yung unauthorized transaction. Ang sabi need nilang i-block yung card to avoid more unauthorized transactions so gora block it. During the call they ask me about common questions about my credit card na syempre sinagot ko.

They told me na the investigation will be 40 to 130 days daw and follow up for 50 days.

After my complaint everyday sila nag bibigay ng updates sa dispute ko and nung September 19, ang na receive ko na email is "Our investigation has shown that there was a duplicate credit for your disputed transaction posted on your account due to the permanent refund processed by the merchant and the temporary credit adjustment we previously issued. Hence, we have reversed the temporary credit adjustment for your disputed transaction. Your dispute request is considered resolved and closed." this.

Resolved and Closed.

So yun na yun? Tapos na? Sure ba talaga?

I mean syempre dapat thankful ako kase resolved and closed na daw refunded pa pero syempre pumasok ulit sa isip ko yung mga ganitong issues na mostly di naman na reresolve agad.

To make sure the claim tumawag ako sa Metrobank hotline ulit and ang sabi nila to make sure on their part din daw follow up for 3 days daw. Bago pa patayin yung tawag nagtanong muna ako sa cust service rep if paano ko ma mi-make sure na refunded na talaga yung pera or lahat ba talaga ni refund or baka di lahat. To see is to believe ika nga nila. So sabi nung cust rep ii-email na lang daw nila yung unofficial bill ko for next month.

Dumating na lang yung new credit card ko di ko pa rin natatanggap yung email na pangako nung cust rep 😤😭 kaya 6 days akong hibang kakaisip kong magkano yung ni refund or sana man lang ni refund talaga lahat. Plssss 🙏. At dahil hanggang ngayon, September 25, di pa rin dumadating yung email, sa history transaction nung new credit card ko na lang chineck and thank you Allah refunded lahat 😭🙏 I mean not totally lahat kase yung unauthorized transaction is as follows: 18,560.65/6,422.51/33,179.14 tapos yung nabalik lang is 18,317.10/6,338.24/32,743.78.

Kulang ng 763.18. Saan napunta? Siguro payment fee nung scam 😂

Like di kase ako mahilig mag open ng links. Of course yung OTP and personal information di na din.

So yun! Kaya siguro mabilis lang natapos yung akin kase siguro nakita ng investigation team na wala as in wala talagang tsanya na ako yung may kasalanan. So dito na nagtatapos ang aking second scam experience and I hope, no, I wish last na talaga to. Ayoko nang mangyari ulit pleassseee 🙏🙏🙏

I ALMOST GOT SCAM..!

So today, June 12, 2024, I experience my first ever scam. It's about my credit card. Di ko na e-spicify anong card. So, let's start. As I was sleeping biglang may unknown number na tumawag. Siguro sa marami di na yun sasagutin but as for me di pwede kase yung family ko andaming unregistered numbers na ginagamit so kailangan sagutin kase baka emergency.
Nung nasagot ko na the caller pala is from ** bank credit card. Habang nasagot ko yung tawag parang lutang pa ata ako kasi nga bagong gising haha. As I was answering they tell me na I can't use my old credit card na daw kase nga may new implementation sila ng new card. Like yung new card nila is not visible na yung expiration date ang yung cvc.
So, I was like "Really? Oh nice" yan lang yung nasabi ko hahaha. So, they say na this call is recorded and chuchu and they proceed to ask me questions. I didn't find it suspicious pa, kase yung questions kase nila is naririnig ko naman sa mga taong nag o-offer ng mga cards.
They ask me if kailan ko nakuha yung card and I said the exact month and year. So, they said OKAY. Again, balik dun sa new card daw if how many years daw yung gusto kong expiration niya. I don't know pero tumatak sa utak ko yang question na yan. Because it's a card na not visible yung expiration date and cvc they'll just email me my new exp date and cvc.
So, they proceed about the exp date and sa totoo lang di ko alam na for 5 years lang pala yung credit cards as she said so I was like 10 years, and she laughed 😑 malay ko diba. Tumatanggap lang naman ako ng card and yeah that's my bad kase di ko inaalam yung mga ano ng credit cards. As of now di ko parin alam if pang 5 years lang ba talaga.
So, I said okay 5 years na lang and she was like okay ma'am and proceed to tell me na this is my new credit card expiration date and cvc and it's exactly MY credit card's exp date and cvc but again I didn't find it suspicious kase they didn't ask me naman about my CVC and OTP.
They also ask me if what my card is. Is it VISA ba daw or MASTERCARD and I said no its JCB and they were like okay ma'am. So, I ask them, na if they're changing my card can I also change it to MASTERCARD kase yung JCB sometimes di ko magamit sa ibang online transaction ko. So sabi naman nila okay no problem.
After asking me everything she said na she'll transfer me daw to her supervisor head ba yun basta I forgot. So, as I was talking to this supervisor inulit ulit niya yung mga informations ko like his reading it talaga in their system. Like my email address, home address and phone number.
Mali lagi and so I always corrected them. But again, pinagwalang bahala ko lang siya. As our talk progress he'll pass daw the reference number to my email at nung nakita ko na kong anong laman ng email parang lumukso yung kaluluwa ko at nagising ako ng tuluyan.

Eto yung laman ng email "Huwag ma-SCAM! NEVER SHARE YOUR OTP. Mag ingat sa humihingi nito para sa upgrades, incentives, or vouchers. To finish your registration to ESTA, your OTP is 895***. Call +63288881700 for    concerns. Reference No : AG-704****"

As I was reading that email, he said na he needs the OTP to proceed daw and yeah pinatay ko yung tawag agad-agad hahaha. As I was contemplating about the email, tumawag siya ulit and nag dadalawang isip akong sagutin ulit pero napaisip din ako what if bank talaga to so akong si tanga sinagot ulit ang tawag.
He said na it disconnected, and I said sorry kase napindot ko accidentally yung end button which is sinadya ko talaga haha. Sabi niya pa it's okay lang daw and proceed again.
Kailangan lang daw talaga nila marinig ON THE LINE kase nga THE CALL IS RECORDED.
Napaisip ulit ako na oo nga no wala naman akong inopen na kahit ano dito sa phone ko and yun yung pagkakamali ko kase I already find it suspicious na pero I still proceed pa rin talaga.
Nung binigay ko na yung OTP ko he said thank you and I'll receive my new credit card daw with an increase limit pa. Wow hahahaha. So, mag hintay lang daw ako at e-email lang daw nila if kailan dadating yung new card. I said my thanks then end the call.
Pagkatapos na pagkatapos ng tawag I dialed the bank's credit card customer service domestic hotline in our telephone. Di ko kase masikmura yung katangahan ko kaya I want to make sure na sila talaga yung tumawag.
Nung nasagot na yung tawag ko I told the cust service rep that I need to report something. Na may tumawag sa aking representative from their bank and offering something and I want to know if they're legit or nah.
I told everything to the customer service what did that scammer told me. Like did you implement ba a new card na di na visible yung exp date and cvc etc. I said na they ask for an OTP pero sila lang din nag generate and they said na it's okay to give it to them, so sabi ni cust service na if I did give my OTP, they need to block my card talaga kase nga as of their policy they are not generating OTP daw and asking for it afterwards.
So, I ask again if wala ba talaga silang ganung implementation ng new card so the cust service told me na wala silang ganung new services or nag implement ng new offers.
The customer service asks me too if kailan daw yung huling transaction ko and I said July 11 at 2:05 p.m and she said it's correct and wala pa namang new transactions na nagaganap. So, I ask her to block my CC na, kase baka magamit pa. Papalitan lang daw nila ng bago.
I even ask na if papalitan naman nila yung card ko pwede bang mag request ng increase limit. I'm just asking di ko talaga balak ipa increase yung limit ko kase dun sa scam ang dali nilang makasabi na expect the increase limit of 100,000 to 200,000.
So, I ask her what I will gonna do with my old card. Can I just keep it or what. She said na as possible I should dispose my old card na daw. Kahit they already blocked it kase, for safety na lang daw din. Yan yung nakalimutan kong itanong sa scammer kanina. Ano kayang sasabihin nila if tinanong ko yan.

So it ends here na...

WOrd Processing Project-December 12, 2015

Postsecondary degrees in the U.S. are available at the associate's, bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels. There are many different types of degrees offered at each level, from the professional Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) to the academic Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). Read on to learn more about the most common degrees available at U.S. colleges and universities.
View 10 Popular Schools »
Undergraduate Degrees
There are two broad categories of undergraduate college degrees: associate's degrees and bachelor's degrees. The average amount of time it takes to earn a degree - also called time to degree - is two years for an associate's degree and four years for a bachelor's degree. Some credits from associate's degree programs can typically be applied toward a bachelor's degree, but an associate's degree is not required for entrance to a bachelor's degree program.
Associate's Degrees
Most associate's degree programs are offered at vocational schools and community colleges, although some national universities have also started conferring 2-year degrees. Students who are seeking general education at this level are most likely to earn an Associate of Arts (A.A.) or an Associate of Science (A.S.) in topics ranging from literature to computer programming. The A.A. and A.S. degrees are most suited to transfer to a 4-year college or university.
Associate's degree programs are also very popular for students who are seeking more direct professional training or credentials. The most common type of vocational associate's degree is the Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.). Some schools also offer specific diplomas, such as the Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN). Exact labels for professional associate's degrees will vary between institutions.

Bachelor's Degrees
Bachelor's degrees are offered at all 4-year colleges and universities, from large public institutions to small private colleges. The two most common types of bachelor's degrees are the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Science (B.S.). Some fields offer specialized degrees, such as the Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), but many schools simply lump these programs under the more general B.A. or B.S. categories.

Whether you earn a B.A. or a B.S. depends as much on your institution as your field of study. Some schools offer a B.A. for humanities and social sciences and a B.S. for applied sciences and research programs, but many institutions divide their degree programs by the graduation requirements.
According to the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), the most common fields for bachelor's degree students are business, social studies, health sciences and education (www.nces.ed.gov).
Graduate Degrees
Because graduate education is a common way to gain advanced professional training in a very specific subject, the world of graduate degrees is even more complex than the world of undergraduate degrees. It can be loosely divided into three main areas: master's degrees, doctoral degrees and professional degrees.
Time to degree varies based on the type of program. It is typically the shortest for master's programs (one to two years of post-graduate study) and the longest for doctoral programs (five to seven years of post-graduate study).
Master's Degrees
There are two main types of master's degrees: academic and professional. An academic master's program is likely to result in a Master of Arts (M.A.) or Master of Science (M.S.) degree. Many people earn an academic master's degree with the intention of continuing on to doctoral study.
There are almost as many professional master's degrees in the U.S. as there are professions. Many institutions invent a new degree name when they create a new program, resulting in a large and often confusing range of possibilities. Some of the more common professional master's degrees include the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Education (M.Ed.).
Most 4-year research universities and many liberal arts colleges offer degrees at the master's level. The NCES lists education and business as the two most common fields for master's-level studies.
Doctoral Degrees
The most common type of doctoral degree is the academic Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). This is a terminal degree in most academic fields and is primarily oriented toward training for research, writing and teaching at an advanced level.
However, it is becoming more and more common for some fields to offer their own types of doctoral programs that combine advanced practical skills with the usual doctoral focus on research and pedagogy. Such programs include the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.).
Ph.D. degrees are commonly found at both public and private research universities. According to the NCES, health professions and the clinical sciences confer the most doctoral degrees, followed by education, engineering, biological and biomedical sciences, psychology and physical sciences.
Professional Degrees
Although many graduate professional degrees are technically considered doctoral degrees, they are best understood as a separate category. Professional degrees can be found at law and medical schools throughout the country. The most popular types of professional degrees include:
  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.), a law degree
  • Medical Doctor (M.D.), a physician's degree
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.), a dentistry degree
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.), a pharmaceutical medicine degree

MICROSOFT OFFICE WORD INTERFACE

*******************************************************************

The Ribbon Microsoft Word 2010 has a large selection of formatting tools and options available for you to use. Formatting is related to the way that the characters and words that you type are arranged on the printed document. Most of these formatting options are found along the top of the window, or the “Ribbon” as Microsoft calls it. This is the Ribbon. It is currently set to the “Home” tab. On the “Home” tab, each of the buttons and drop down
menus affects the formatting of your typed characters and words, in someway.

Home Tab
Clipboard
This is the clipboard area of the Ribbon. These tools and buttons are useful when copying and pasting characters and words from other places. For instance, I can copy some characters and text from an Internet web site and paste it into this document using these tools and buttons. The following section has been copied from the Wikipedia article on Microsoft Office: Microsoft Office is a proprietary commercial office suite of inter-related desktop applications, servers and services for the Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X operating systems, introduced by Microsoft in 1989. Initially a marketing term for a bundled set of applications, the first version of Office contained Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Over the years, Office applications have grown substantially closer with shared features such as a common spell checker, OLE data integration and Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications scripting language. Microsoft also positions Office as a development platform for line-of-business software under the Office Business Applications brand. According to Forrester Research, as of June 2009, some version of Microsoft Office is used in 80% of enterprises, with 64% of enterprises using Office 2007.

Office buttonA button introduced with the Office 2007 and its introduction of the newRibbon feature. The Office button is found in the top-left corner of Excel, Word, or other Office program window and looks like the picture to the right. When the Office button is clicked, many of the same options you'd see in the File menu such as New, Open, Save, Print, etc. can be found.
The Office button was later removed in Office 2010. However, all of the same features can be still found under the File tab.
